There is no client software setup like GNS3 and EVE-NG is very useful for training and causal network verification. Once the EVE-NG is installed on the PC, all you need is a web browser to logon to the EVE-NG VM to setup and verify your network.

I note that EVE-NG needs more CPU cycles and RAM to run for a given network test config on a PC than GNS3 but EVE-NG does not require any client software. Once you have the EVE-NG setup with the above router images, you can go-ahead to start the EVE-NG VM under VMWare Workstation or Player.
